Valentine's Message for the Men In Corona
To the men InCorona,
Ladies, women, girls - if you are reading this post go no further and forward this page to the man in your life!
OK Guys, now that it's just us guys, we wanted to let you in on a little InCorona secret. You see Valentine's is just a couple of weeks away. Yes, we know it seems like Christmas was just a couple of weeks ago, but if the new toaster and NFL sports package wasn't a big hit with the wife or girlfriend at Christmas, have we got a great tip to share with you!
NCH (Nancy's Country Hearts) in the Costco shopping center on McKinley will be having their Valentine's Men's Night on February 9th from 6 to 9 PM. If you have never been, this is a great time to go. There will be catered food, drinks and plenty of guy stuff. You see Nancy's makes it easy for us guys.
Nancy's has a great selection of top jewelers in all price ranges. Everything is laid out in an easy selection or if you don't know your Brighton from your Budweiser the great staff will put you on track to a special item that will be a big hit!
Our favorite part is... NO WRAPPING! Nancy's will put your item in a special little bag or box with a bow or ribbon.
NCH has long been a favorite for Valentine's and gifts for all special occasions. Make sure you stroll through the Art Gallery in the back of the store, it's amazing how much great stuff is in this store!
Click here to learn more about NCH and other stores InCorona!
Now for you ladies that do not follow directions and have chosen to read this email. We know who you are! Make sure that you stop by NCH for all the new items in stock and the incredible NCH Art Gallery. Make sure to ask about the "Love Your Heart Necklace" with a donation going to the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women movement for each necklace sold while supplies last.
Happy Valentine's Day!

Temescal Canyon Bridge Construction - Corona
Each year during the rainy season the Bedford Wash fills and floods the low points of Temescal Canyon Road. The water can quickly rise and be dangerous for cars and trucks. As South Corona grows this problem will only be compounded with all of the new homes and business in the Dos Lagos area. The City of Corona, Riverside Supervisor John Tavagilone and the Dos Lagos Development Group have banded together to correct this problem.
The Temescal Canyon Road will be closed South of Cajalco and North of Weirick from Monday November 28th until Monday, January 9th. This is to allow for the for construction of the four lane Bedford Wash Bridge. During this time all traffic will be rerouted onto the 15 Freeeway.
This joint effort project is scheduled to be completed by January 9th 2006 but this date may fluctuate some with weather or unforeseen factors. Hopefully our new 4 lane bridge entering into the divided streets of Dos Lagos with beautiful majestic oaks down the center will be complete by the first hard rainfall.
Any questions may be directed to the construction hotline at (951) 279-3060 or see the Dos Lagos web site at www.doslagos.net .

Prado Dam - History Cannot Be Rewritten
HISTORY CANNOT BE REWRITTEN
There is a move afoot in Congress (H.R. 1152) to change the name of Prado Dam to the Victor V. Veysey Dam. It is sponsored by Congressman Ken Calvert to honor his father's friend.
WE CANNOT LET THIS HAPPEN
The Prado Dam has existed for nearly 65 years and was named for the frontier town called Prado, once located in the basin behind the dam. Prado is important because:

WE CANNOT LET THIS HAPPEN
The Prado Dam has existed for nearly 65 years and was named for the frontier town called Prado, once located in the basin behind the dam. Prado is important because:
- The area was inhabited for centuries, first by the Gabrielene Indians, then by Spanish settlers of Rancho El Rincon and then by American Farmers.
- The Butterfield stage stopped at Prado.
- Besides homes, significant structures in Prado included a railroad depot, a post office, a school house, a hotel, a general store and a garage.
- Three hundred citizens called Prado home.
If you agree, please contact Congressman Calvert:
